​Kindred Spirits - Someone whose presence makes you feel alive, validated, accepted, worthy & who brings a spark of joy to your wellbeing. The connection you form may be that you feel joy being with them, around them, thinking of them. 

• is open to fibre, thread & textile artists 
•  is a non-acquisitive competition & exhibition
• accepts entries representing any use of fibre, threads & textiles & encourages the artist to explore traditional & non-traditional practices
• the focus of this textile art prize & exhibition is Colour, Composition, Creativity & Craftsmanship
• Textiles encompasses fibre, thread, stitching, quilting, embroidery & includes fabric, fibre, felt, wool, wire, paper, even metal

​Conditions of Entry:

1. Entries welcome from all Textile Artists; open age & experience
2. Size: Finished size no larger than 30cm square: either vertical or landscape orientation.
3. One Red Thread must be included within your body of work
4. Please do not mount your work or place under glass
5. *Please note: if you decide to make your item dimensional, please do not make your item any deeper than 5cm.  I cannot guarantee it will be able to go on tour due to packaging, handling & transportation of the exhibition overall.

7. A non-refundable entry fee of $30 is required
8. One entry per person
9. On-line entry
10. A progress photo is acceptable & can be emailed
11. Entries must be finished within the last 12 months & be the original work of the Artist
12. Works to be received no later than 20 June 2023
13. Judging & prizes will be awarded at the Sydney Craft & Quilt Fair 2023; many thanks to @intocraft for their support
14. A label with your name, address & phone number must be securely attached to the back of your work
15. Postage & Handling for returns: please supply, if not I will organise a PayPal invoice for return postage
16. I reserve the right to keep the exhibition for a minimum of 12 months. Invitations will be accepted for ORT2023 to tour Australia; exhibitions will be decided upon on your behalf
17. You are responsible for your own insurance for loss or damage
18. Your entry may be photographed & used for advertising, editorial, website, Facebook & Instagram
19. Liability: although all care is taken you accept that you are entering your work at your own risk – please also NOTE: Item #3 above
20. Submitting the on-line entry form signifies your agreement with the conditions of entry
